Dewberry is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in our Leesburg, VA office.

Individual will work on all phases of civil/municipal engineering including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control design. Individual may also conduct permitting and code research, write specifications, and preprare and submit permit applications.


  • Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Civil Engineering is required
  • Previous internship experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Site/Civil engineering practices including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water and sanitary sewer design, and erosion and sediment control design
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using CADD and Microsoft Office software
  • Desire to work in a team environment
