The focus of the position will be to provide IT Help Desk support to end users, needed completion to outstanding IT projects, and attain valuable skills working with staff in different technologies and application platforms.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capabilities in collaborating with others to perform Information Technology tasks within a team environment. Work experience with a privately-held company will be beneficial.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Information Technology Intern will:

  • Support requests using our ticketing system.
  • Asset Management
  • Hardware imaging
  • Document processes
  • Software program maintenance and fixes
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • A degree or active progress towards a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, is required.
  • Professional, good communication skills

Essential Physical Abilities:

  • Ability to utilize full manual dexterity (i.e. sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, lifting, walking, manipulating tools with limbs extended).

Compensation and Benefits

Base Pay Range: $21.50 per hour, and Overtime is paid at 1 ½ times the hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 in a week. 

Benefits:   Not eligible for benefits or Paid Time Off.
