About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading healthcare organization to support a large-scale network refresh initiative across its Fargo operations. This project is focused on modernizing critical network infrastructure to improve security, performance, and reliability across the enterprise. The Network Engineer will play a key role in replacing, configuring, and supporting networking equipment while helping ensure a seamless transition to updated technologies. Candidates with telecommunications experience will have the opportunity to contribute to both network and voice infrastructure initiatives.

Project Initiatives & Impact
  • Support a network refresh designed to improve enterprise network stability and security.
  • Upgrade and modernize routing, switching, firewall, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Assist with deployment and configuration of telecom components including SIP gateways and voice routers.
  • Help ensure reliable connectivity for a large healthcare environment that relies on highly available network services.
  • Work alongside the existing infrastructure team to accelerate project delivery and maintain operational continuity during upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
  • Replace, configure, and deploy routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Support troubleshooting and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Assist with telecom-related equipment including SIP gateways, voice routers, and related technologies.
  • Work closely with network engineering and technical teams throughout the refresh project.
  • Document configurations, changes, and implementation activities.
  • Travel between Fargo-area locations as needed to support deployment efforts.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of network engineering experience.
  • Experience configuring and supporting routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking concepts and infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with telecommunications technologies.
