Job description

Summary Statement:
The Network Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation, administration, and continuous improvement of the enterprise network infrastructure. This role leads the Network Engineering team in delivering secure, highly available, and resilient networking services across the organization's campus and data center environments. Working closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams, the manager oversees project execution, operational excellence, lifecycle management, and technical standards while ensuring reliable network services that support business-critical operations.

PrimaryJob Duties:Includes but is not limited to:

  • Manage the daily operation, administration, and support of the enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Network Engineering team through coaching, workload management, and performance evaluations.
  • Execute network infrastructure projects approved by IT leadership, including upgrades, refreshes, and expansions.
  • Maintain highly available campus, data center, WAN, Internet, wireless, and optical network connectivity.
  • Oversee Cisco networking technologies including Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, DNA Center, ISE, Firepower, and Ciena transport infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership during complex incident response and problem resolution.
  • Develop and maintain network standards, documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate maintenance windows, change management, firmware upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with System Engineering, Security and Application teams to support business initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and gaming regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, multicast, VPN, and wireless networking.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center, Firepower Management Center (FMC), and Ciena technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise WAN, Internet, and data center networking.
  • Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work after hours during maintenance windows and critical incidents.

Preferred:

  • Experience with enterprise data center networking, software-defined networking (SDN), routing, switching, wireless, and network security technologies.
  • Experience planning and executing network infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Experience managing enterprise network environments supporting 24x7 business operations across multiple data centers.
  • Experience with network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds.
  • Experience supporting PCI-DSS, gaming regulatory, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort, casino, hospitality, or entertainment environment.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • 3+ years leading technical teams.
  • CCNP Enterprise or equivalent experience required.
  • CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, or Ciena certifications preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain the following:
    • Gaming Registration
