Job description

Role Overview

The Network Engineer I supports the design, documentation, and maintenance of network infrastructure while providing hands‑on troubleshooting for connectivity and performance issues.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing assigned projects and researching system upgrades to ensure hardware and policies remain compliant with organizational standards.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and rotating on‑call support to guarantee 24/7 hospital reliability.

Education/Experience: 4‑year college degree or 2 years of related experience.

Required skills and knowledge:

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and client‑facing communication skills.
  • Strong personal and time management skills; self‑starter who is highly motivated for continuous improvement.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to identify opportunities and credibly present ideas to management.
  • Ability to turn concepts into technical solutions that solve problems.
