Job description

Department: Information Systems
Shift: Day
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Summary:
The Network Engineer I supports the design, documentation, and maintenance of network infrastructure while providing hands-on troubleshooting for connectivity and performance issues. They manage assigned projects and research system upgrades to ensure hardware and policies remain compliant with organizational standards. To ensure 24/7 reliability for the hospital, this role also performs scheduled maintenance and participates in a rotating on-call schedule.
Other information:
"Applicants for this position must be able to demonstrate work authorization at the time of beginning employment. The employer is not currently sponsoring this position for immigration work authorization, including, but not limited to, non-immigrant work status, non-immigrant work status change of employer, or employment-based permanent residency sponsorship."
Education/Experience: 4 year college degree or 2 years of related experience.
Certification: Associate level industry certifications desirable - CCNA, JNCIA, etc.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal and client-facing communication skills. Strong personal and time management skills. Strong work ethic. Can take concepts and turn them into technical solutions that solve problems. Highly motivated self-starter interested in constant improvement. Outstanding customer service skills. Can identify opportunities and credibly present ideas to management.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
