Network Engineer

St. Louis Missouri

Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will support IT operations across multiple locations and cloud environments, ensuring reliable connectivity, robust security, and efficient resolution of network issues.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with enterprise networking technologies, cloud networking, network security, automation, and troubleshooting, along with excellent communication and documentation skills.


Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Enterprise Network Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Experience working with network security technologies, cloud networking, and enterprise-scale environments.


Required Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and QoS.
  • Experience with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 networking environments.
  • Strong network troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience with network automation and scripting using PowerShell and/or Python.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity protocols, security controls, and network threat mitigation.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, or VMware are a plus.

  • Experience with SD-WAN implementations and enterprise wireless networks.
