Hospital Development Executive (Outside Sales)

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Development Executive to join our team covering Missouri, Arkansas, and Kansas territory. The ideal candidate will be located in the Kansas City area.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow new hospital Laboratory reference business, including routine and specialty testing

  • Maintain relationships with existing client base and develop relationships with C-Suite decision makers

  • Educate and implement analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to both current and potential clients

  • Collaborate with other sales team members to expand services beyond the clinical reference testing

  • Prospect for new hospital business

  • Maintain existing client relationships

  • Work with specialty divisions to grow a profitable portfolio

  • Drive high value, hospital based business by prospecting for new opportunities in Labcorp's Mid America Division

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in hospital sales or account management

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree from a four-year accredited university or college

  • 3 years experience in the healthcare industry

  • Strong relationship building ability and experience

  • Ability to prepare and present professional presentations (In-Person & Virtually)

  • Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory

  • Act as a liaison between the client and the LabCorp operations team in relation to client needs

  • Provide ongoing service and timely resolution to customer base

  • Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service

  • Recommend solutions that are client focused

  • Collaborate with entire sales team to grow book of business

  • Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals

  • Proven success managing a book of business

The Hospital Development Executive is responsible for driving high value, hospital based business by prospecting for new opportunities in Labcorp's Mid America Division. This position will be responsible for prospecting for new hospital business, maintaining existing client relationships, working with specialty divisions to grow a profitable portfolio.

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
