As a Supplier Dev Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will hold a critical role responsible for driving the optimization and improvement of our organization's supplier base. You will play a pivotal part in enhancing supplier performance, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to a dedicated team of supplier development engineers and professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supplier development strategies that improve supplier performance and capabilities.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and mitigate risks

Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 3+ years of experience in supplier development, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier development processes, quality control, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Experience with supplier audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Proficiency in tools such as SAP, Minitab, or other quality and supplier management software.
WE VALUE
  • Advanced degree in engineering or related technical field such as Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
