Job description

Airswift is looking for a Project Development Engineer II (Front-End) to work for a major O&G company in Spring, TX, for an initial 12-months assignment.
This opportunity is focused on front-end project development for upstream unconventional well locations, facilities, flowlines, and related infrastructure. The role is designed for an engineering professional who can translate business objectives, operational requirements, and technical inputs into execution-ready scopes while supporting decision quality, stakeholder alignment, and project readiness. This position offers broad exposure across project development, planning, regulatory coordination, and execution interfaces in a technically demanding environment.
Required Education:
  • BS degree in Engineering or related technical studies
Required Experience:
  • Prior experience in project development, execution, and planning activities
  • Experience supporting early planning and scoping for well pads, tank batteries, well pad facilities, flowlines, and related infrastructure
  • Experience working across upstream development planning, operations, engineering, project execution, regulatory, land, project controls, and supply chain interfaces
Required Skills:
  • Ability to lead front-end project development and translate business, operational, and technical inputs into clear, aligned, execution-ready scopes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Capability to evaluate infrastructure options and support capital-efficient, value-focused project recommendations
  • Ability to develop and steward technical basis, project layouts, site requirements, permitting strategies, planning assumptions, and standard design alignment
  • Ability to coordinate early input for regulatory, land, permitting, constructability, equipment demand, inventory forecasting, and execution planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in upstream unconventional environments
