Job description

Job Summary:
Nexxis Solutions is supporting efforts to provide cybersecurity and network analysis expertise. The role involves conducting vulnerability assessments and analysis of network cybersecurity risks, with responsibilities including data collection, network analysis, and producing reports on cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
• Be part of a team of diverse backgrounds performing ongoing, comprehensive vulnerability assessments and/or analysis of network cybersecurity risks to enable risk management and mitigation activities.
• Duties could include: data collection and parsing; network & protocol analysis; tools development/analysis; vulnerability/intrusion detection; evaluation of diverse sources and formats of ingest data; devising tailored algorithms, workflows, analytics and/or visualizations; working with agency specific tools and methodologies; producing formal/informal reports, briefings; assessment of cyber-attacks and development of effective countermeasures.
Qualifications:
Required:
• A B.S./B.A. in Computer or Physical Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Cyber Security, Information Assurance or a related field is required for most positions.
• A current TS clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Available positions range from 0 – 20+ years of experience.
• Positions may require DoD 8570 compliance: IAT Level I or II certification.
• A minimum of Security+ strongly preferred.
Preferred:
• A Masters or Ph.D. is a plus but not required for most positions.
• Other industry specific certifications such as CEH (and related) may be required for some positions.
