Full Job Description

We are seeking a qualified professional for a Structured Cabling Estimator position. This role will be based at the company's New Jersey headquarters and will include occasional travel to job sites throughout the metropolitan area.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in telecommunications estimating and engineering. Candidates must have prior engineering experience to be considered for this position.

Key responsibilities include:

Design, integrate, and implement telecommunications and data communications structured cabling systems and related infrastructure.

Develop detailed designs for new structured cabling systems, as well as integrations or modifications within existing environments.

Develop, manage, and coordinate drawing revisions, ensuring structured cabling designs are aligned with other design disciplines.

Review drawings and specifications prepared by others for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Provide on-site inspection and technical support for cable installation projects.

Apply knowledge of design and documentation processes, professional practices, design standards, and budget cost development.

Utilize applicable BICSI, EIA/TIA 568-B, and NEC code requirements in project planning and execution.

Prepare and review engineering drawings and construction documents for data and network cabling projects.

Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project.

Supervise and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule expectations.

A bachelor's degree, BICSI and RCDD certifications, and experience with AutoCAD are preferred, but not required.
