Network Automation (NA)

Phase I shall include the installation of Servers as defined in the Architectural Design one (1) Primary Site and two (2) Remote Sites in env 1 and one (1) Primary Site and two (2) Remote Sites in env 2.

NA Implementation (env 1 & env 2)

One (1) Primary Site on env 1 and one (1) Primary Site on env 2

Install, configure and test a highly available NA solution at one (1) Primary Site

Finalized server, ports, OS, storage and database requirements will be defined in the Architectural Design.

Two (2) Remote Sites on env 1 and Two (2) Remote Sites on env 2

o Install and configure up to two (2) satellite gateways at each remote site

NA Configuration

Configure global settings for managed domain (ssh, syslog)

Assist in the creation of five (5) configuration scripts where:

Scripts shall be derived from use cases identified in the planning stage

NA connect and client API will be utilized Assist with the creation of ten (10) policies with up to five (5) rules.

o Policies created will be transitioned to regional sites

Derived from current standards and security policies

Policies leverage NA's OOTB policy engine

Diagnostic policies consist of one (1) diagnostic script

OOTB reports created from policies based on rule violations

Rules per policy will vary based on requirements, not to exceed ten (10) rules

Create five (5) static groups

Create five (5) dynamic groups

Configure real-time change detection with syslog

Integration

o NNMi data synchronization

NNMi Implementation

One (1) Primary Site on ENV 1 and one (1) Secondary Site on ENV 2

Install, configure and test a 2-node highly available NNMi cluster at one (1) Primary Site

Two (2) Remote Sites on ENV 1 and Two (2) Remote Sites on ENV 2

Install, configure and test a 2-node highly available NNMi cluster at each remote site

NNMi Configuration

Remote sites will be configured to forward events to regional OMi servers for local event correlation.

Perform network discovery of management domain - up to one-thousand (1000) devices using IP Address Range or seed file.

Load trap definition from vendor external named Management Information Base (MIB) files for up to three (3) IP addressable microwave and radio devices

Configure up to two (2) NNMi state poller services

Create up to ten (10) rule based discovery patterns

Create NNMi user domain for up to ten (10) users

Create up to ten (10) communication profiles Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) based network device access information)

Configure up to two (2) Prime Contractor defined node group maps

o Validate Map Containers Create up to four (4) Prime Contractor defined Interface Groups Assist with modification of incident handling within NNMi event sub-system
