Responsibilities

Ezee Fiber is seeking an accomplished and technically proficient Engineer, Senior Network Engineering to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of our rapidly expanding network infrastructure. This is a strategic leadership role that requires deep technical expertise, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be responsible for driving architectural decisions, ensuring network resilience and scalability, and mentoring engineering teams to support our mission of delivering world-class connectivity solutions.


Qualifications

• Network Architecture & Optimization: Design and optimize high-performance network systems leveraging technologies such as DWDM, CWDM, XGSPON, GPON, and Metro Ethernet.
• Core Infrastructure Leadership: Lead the deployment, testing, and validation of core network infrastructure and services, ensuring minimal downtime and peak performance.
• Advanced Technical Support: Serve as the primary escalation point for Tier 3 and Tier 4 network incidents. Support the Network Operations Center (NOC) with expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of critical issues.
• Documentation & Process Development: Define, standardize, and maintain comprehensive documentation and processes for network asset management, configurations, and operational workflows.
• Capacity Planning & Scalability: Lead long-term capacity planning initiatives to support future growth, ensuring the network meets scalability, availability, and performance goals.
• Technology Evaluation & Implementation: Identify, assess, and implement emerging networking technologies (e.g., 802.11ax, SmartOptics, BTI) to improve operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, and Ciena, ensuring alignment on technical capabilities and service-level expectations.

• Team Mentorship & Development: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical excellence, continuous learning, and a culture of high performance.
• Cross-Departmental Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership across departments to support business initiatives and infrastructure projects.
• Incident Management: Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations to ensure rapid response and resolution during critical network outages or events.
