Job Summary:
Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. They are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join their talented team as a Network Engineer - I. The role involves providing network support, evaluating the network environment for a transition to Colleague SaaS, and assisting with firewall configurations and compliance issues.
Responsibilities:
• Provide network/telecom support.
• Evaluate the network environment as client prepares to move to Colleague SaaS.
• Assist with firewall and other network layer configurations to ensure smooth operations with the Cloud.
• Assist the software support team in managing ongoing compliance/network management issues.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Cisco Ice.
• Expertise with Windows Security.
• Manage M-365 security center, requiring security focus expertise.
• Provide on-call rotational support as required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Network Administration/Engineering.
• A minimum of High school diploma with equivalent experience and certification or a 2-years degree/Associate Degree.
• Network Break fix and security expertise required.
• Good knowledge of designing and implementing networks.
• Creating Maintenance strategies.
• Expertise with both Hardware and Software focusing on design and implementation.
Preferred:
• Service Now ticketing system experience is an add-on.
• Experience as a Network, UNIX, Security, Oracle, or Windows administration is ideal.
