โ€ข Active TSSCI -Experience designing, implementing, and supporting WAN infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring reliable and high-performing connectivity. โ€ข Strong hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network technologies, including configuration and maintenance. โ€ข Advanced network monitoring and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve WAN performance and connectivity issues. โ€ข Knowledge of network security best practices, including VPNs, encryption, access controls, and securing enterprise WAN environments. โ€ข Experience optimizing network performance and availability, including upgrades, documentation, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration with cross-functional IT teams. Day-To-Day:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a WAN Admin to sit fully onsite in Omaha, NE. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and optimization of the organization's Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure. The WAN Network Administrator will configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across multiple locations. They will proactively monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity and latency issues, implement security controls, and perform upgrades and maintenance to maximize network availability. The role also requires collaborating with cross-functional IT teams and external vendors, maintaining accurate network documentation, and supporting disaster recovery and business continuity efforts to ensure a resilient and high-performing network environment.
