Job description

Job Description STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING. NetSuite System IT Lead Charlotte, NC (Onsite 3-4 days/week as needed) 12+ Months W2 Contract role Role Description We are seeking an experienced NetSuite IT Lead with deep knowledge of the NetSuite platform. This is an initiative to enhance the current NetSuite environment by expanding its capabilities to include functionality currently supported by other financial systems, including Basware for AP, Kyriba for Treasury, and Maximo for Procurement.

The initiative will also include interfaces with OATI for ETRM. This role will lead the project team responsible for delivering these enhancements and expanded capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the NetSuite enhancement initiative, including expanding the platform to incorporate functionality currently provided by Basware for AP, Kyriba for Treasury, and Maximo for Procurement.

Lead a team of approximately 10 application professionals, including support specialists, business analysts, system analysts, architects, and project managers, while partnering with PwC and business stakeholders to align resources with the project plan. Define, develop, test, and implement third-party integrations using Workato to automate and streamline processes between NetSuite and key business systems. Work with external vendors and implementation partners throughout the ERP Software Development Life Cycle.

Provide ongoing support for the NetSuite implementation, including process mapping, issue resolution, and validation of system functionality. Partner with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring integrations support financial and operational objectives. Identify, document, and implement NetSuite improvements that optimize business processes and improve data accuracy.

Maintain SOX compliance by documenting and managing controls for in-scope financial application processes. Deliver training and ongoing end-user support to promote effective use of NetSuite functionality and integration capabilities. Qualifications: Strong experience managing third-party integrations, with a specific emphasis on Basware, Kyreva, Landworks, Tax Procurement (PowerTax), Avalara, Onstream, Power BI, Hartigen Fiber Optics, Concur and CXL.

Will consider an ambitious candidate. Expertise in SuiteScript for developing custom scripts and automating complex workflows within NetSuite. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and operational solutions.

In-depth knowledge of NetSuite ERP, specifically in financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting. Proven ability to lead and manage NetSuite implementation projects, from planning and design to deployment and support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with executives, managers, and technical teams.

Experience using Alteryx or similar tools for data extraction and transformation is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting. Additional Qualifications: 4+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, including implementation and integration projects.

5+ years of professional experience in a finance/accounting role or as a Business Analyst, with a focus on ERP systems. NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, SuiteScript Developer I, or SuiteScript Developer II are required. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
