Purpose of Position
The Aircraft Auditor's primary responsibility is the completion of audits of the NJUS fleet and their respective maintenance office. All aircraft and maintenance office audits are performed in accordance with the NJUS Standards Department Policy and Procedure Manual. Audits are of varying duration and complexity and may require the Aircraft Auditor to travel up to three weeks per month. Ancillary duties include the completion of departmental audits through the Internal Evaluation Program (IEP), updating Supplemental Lift Provider aircraft and pilot data, and performing after-hours on-call duties.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Prepare for aircraft and maintenance office audits including contacting crews, arranging travel, and completing the audit
• Produce detailed audit reports documenting detailed areas of non-compliance or concern.
• Produce weekly report tracking completed audits.
• Assist in the completion of internal IEP audits.
• Provide after hours (on-call) support to internal and external customers, as scheduled.
