The Role:
We are seeking a Physical Assets Specialist to support projects in the UCAN (USA, Canada) region.
The Physical Assets team, a part of Production Services, manages the tracking of physical creative assets through their production life-cycle; from time of purchase or manufacture at a project level to its final use phase. Physical creative assets are used for a variety of Studio needs including Marketing and PR use, reuse within the Netflix ecosystem and archival preservation. The role will work closely with both freelance crews and Netflix cross-functional teams to track and manage physical creative assets for Production, Marketing, Publicity, Archival and other Studio needs.
A successful candidate will be a passionate, self-motivated, quick-thinker who is able to juggle, pivot and prioritize multiple responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone proactive and positive, with the ability to communicate, digest and organize complex information from multiple sources.
Responsibilities:
  • Support Netflix productions and Internal Partners cross all phases - prep, production, wrap, post, launch, and final strike
  • Coordinate with vendors, crew, and logistics teams for the reuse, liquidation, disposal, and shipment of Physical Assets
  • Onboard crew to Asset and Continuity Tracking documents and software; schedule meetings and trainings and provide day-to-day support
  • Audit Asset and Continuity Tracking documents and software to ensure data integrity and receipt of deliverables for ingestion into the global asset database
  • Facilitate the loan of Physical Assets for promotional use
  • Pull, package, and organize Physical Assets from the Netflix Archive and third-party storage facilities
  • Partner with the Netflix Archive team to ensure Physical Assets are selected, received, and properly documented
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of internal cross-functional workflows
  • Travel between the Los Angeles office, studios, productions, and storage facilities as required

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years previous studio experience or hands-on office or set experience in feature film or television production required
  • Proficiency with data management tools (familiarity with Airtable, Slack, FileMaker Pro, Sync On Set and Asset Hub beneficial but not required)
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar and Mail), ability to learn new software and technologies
  • Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production process and contribute to new workflows
  • Effective communication skills, which may include written, visual, and/or verbal communication, for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and curious - comfortable learning new software, technologies, and evolving production workflows
  • Ability to work in warehouse environments, including using appropriate equipment, and following safety procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to lift ~30 lbs

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $108,000.00 - $185,000.00.
