Bachelors or master’s in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Administration (AWS preferred but Azure is okay too)
  • 5+ Years of hand on DBA experience with MPP systems and large Data warehouses
  • 5+ years of scripting and automation experience using Shell / Perl / Python
  • Proficiency in Snowflake platform Architecture, function/feature
  • Understanding User/Data/Network Security
  • Awareness of DB Optimization techniques pertinent to Snowflake
  • Monitoring, alerting of the Snowflake platform
  • Understanding of data ingress & egress patterns between Snowflake & different CSPs
  • Proficiency in SQL and Procedural languages of any major RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Postgres or SQL Server
  • Participating in on-call rotation & production support
  • Working experience on MPP systems like – Netezza, Teradata, Greenplum, Hadoop etc.
