About the role
Join Our Team as a Group Fitness Instructor!
HealthFitness is seeking a motivated and engaging Group Class Instructor to join our fitness team at our client site in Springfield, MA.
This role offers the opportunity to lead one 30-minute class per week (12:00-12:30 p.m.), with the flexibility to choose between a Tuesday or Thursday schedule. There is also potential for additional classes as the program grows. If you're passionate about helping others stay active and energized in a supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
  • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
  • 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $50/class- $70/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
