Job description

Our client, a NETA company specializing in testing, maintenance, and repair of all types of electrical distribution equipment (breakers, transformers, cables, relays, switches, etc.), is seeking a field service technician experienced in industrial and construction settings.
-Level II or Level III NETA certification, or ability to be re-certified, required.
-5+ years related testing experience in shop and/or field service and repairs of power distribution equipment.
Responsibilities include performing equipment inspections and maintenance, collecting field data, leading on-site test crew; repair of low and medium voltage breakers, switchgear service, repair and  maintenance, test for de-energized locked out/tagged out equipment, power factor testing, relay testing, switchgear maintenance and repairs, acceptance testing, low  voltage solid-state breaker retrofits, switchgear control wiring and troubleshooting, transformer testing, repair services and Doble testing, record keeping, safety of others, switching and evaluation.
Must be willing to work some weekends and respond to fluctuating schedules. Travel required (approx.. 50%).  Must have valid driver’s license and pass a background check.
