Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring 2+ years of adult experience and a Hawaii state license (required if applicable).

Details
  • Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation setting at a medical center
  • Coverage spans both Rehab and Acute Rehab units
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • EMR systems used include Net Health Therapy and Meditech
  • Must be available to work Hawaii State and Federal holidays as required by hospital operations
Requirements
  • Active Occupational Therapist license, Hawaii license required by start of assignment (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience with adult patients in outpatient and acute settings
  • Current BLS certification from American Red Cross required
  • Experience with Net Health Therapy and Meditech EMR systems preferred
Additional Information
  • Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
  • Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
  • Independently manage a full caseload
  • Knowledgeable in determining when re-evaluations are needed based on insurance authorization
  • All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment
  • Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date to attend a required Friday morning Employee Health appointment
