Falls Technology is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Developer / SME to join our team supporting a mission-focused application development effort in Chantilly, VA.

This is a hands-on development role working as part of a multidisciplinary Agile team to design, build, enhance, and support mission applications. We’re looking for someone with strong full-stack development experience who is comfortable working across the application stack and collaborating directly with users, developers, and other technical stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack mission applications.
  • Develop backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and enhance modern web interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular.
  • Work with MongoDB and other application data stores.
  • Develop and integrate REST-based services and interfaces.
  • Build and support applications and services running within AWS environments.
  • Work within an Agile development team using JIRA to manage requirements, development activities, and delivery.
  • Translate user and mission requirements into end-to-end application and database designs.
  • Collaborate across development, infrastructure, security, and mission teams to deliver production capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary application development teams.
  • Hands-on experience with full-stack Java application development.
  • Experience with several of the following technologies:
    • Java
