Job description

We are seeking a talented Front-End WordPress Developer with a strong sense of aesthetics and coding expertise to join our innovative team at West County Net. Our mission is to push the boundaries of WordPress by developing progressive websites across various industries.​

The Role

  • Design and implement responsive WordPress websites using our proprietary code.​
  • Collaborate with the content team to structure and program content architecture.​
  • Work closely with our CTO, Digital Specialists, and Design team to bring projects to completion.​
  • Layout content designs in Gutenberg and Full Site Editor.
  • Maintain and improve the codebase for a wide range of clients and projects.​
  • Maintaining WordPress sites plugins and completing client requests.
  • Develop custom Gutenberg blocks.​
  • Create custom plugins to streamline future projects.​

Desired Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an affinity for problem-solving.
  • Fluent in HTML5/CSS3, capable of developing valid W3C markup with cross-browser support.​
  • Expert understanding WordPress theme and plugin development.​
  • Experience with Advanced Custom Fields and Gravity Forms.​
  • WordPress JavaScript development, particularly Block and Gutenberg experience.
  • Ability to structure page layouts with an understanding of frontend UX standards.​
  • Proficient in managing Webpack builds and Git workflows.​
