What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors

OHM Advisors has been active in the Southwest Ohio market for several years and is now looking to establish a physical office presence in the Dayton/Cincinnati region. As the Office Leader/ Principal/ Geographic Director you will embody our core values and live our mission of Advancing Communities. We are looking for an engaging leader with a great reputation, proven track record with clients, strong understanding of the market, and an entrepreneurial focus. As the Leader of the office, you will lead by example, inspire the team, cultivate a great OHM culture, and enjoy building a team to compete and win in the Southwest Ohio market.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work with Principals, Practice Leaders, Market Leader, and the Business Development Team to leverage local opportunities to win work with local clients.
  • Responsible for the financial metrics and success of the local office by working collaboratively with discipline leaders and statewide leaders to properly staff and deliver work on time and budget for our clients.
  • Lead our local efforts to identify, recruit, and retain top talent in the market.
  • Build a local, multi-disciplinary team to serve the needs of our clients and provide growth opportunities for our staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Planning or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar in the State of Ohio.
  • 10 plus years of Engineering, Planning or related industry experience in the Southwest Ohio market.
  • Experience leading successful teams, inspiring staff, growing sales, and maintaining high client satisfaction levels.
  • Proficient with software/tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), ERP systems, etc.
  • Proven ability in managing personnel, clients, and projects, including understanding project finance (margin, net fees, net fee multiplier, A/R, WIP, days outstanding).
  • Local travel to project locations and client offices. Occasional travel to other OHM Advisors’ offices.
