C# Application Developer – Multiple Levels

About the Opportunity

Our client in King of Prussia is growing their technology department and is seeking Application Developers at multiple levels. These roles support the development of software applications, automation solutions, data systems, and business process technologies used in manufacturing and industrial environments.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and developers to design, develop, document, test, troubleshoot, and maintain reliable software solutions. Some positions may require travel to customer or project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems.
  • Develop solutions using C# and/or VB.NET.
  • Work with Microsoft SQL Server, databases, and data-driven applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues.
  • Develop software supporting automation, manufacturing, and business processes.
  • Create technical documentation and maintain development standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, controls, IT, and business teams.
  • Participate in system integration, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Senior and Lead-level professionals may provide technical leadership, architecture, mentoring, and project guidance.
  • Travel to customer/project sites as needed.

Qualifications

Junior Application Developer

  • 0–2+ years of software development experience.
  • Knowledge of C#, VB.NET, or another object-oriented programming language.
  • Basic understanding of SQL/database concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Senior Application Developer

  • 5+ years of professional development experience.
  • Strong expertise with C# and/or VB.NET.
  • Significant Microsoft SQL Server experience.
  • Proven ability to design and structure applications and complex software solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or
  • Equivalent professional software development experience.
