Consultant - Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering team and help leading insurance organizations modernize core operations through Guidewire PolicyCenter. In this role, you'll support the design, configuration, and extension of PolicyCenter solutions that enable underwriting, product, and policy administration capabilities for complex insurance environments. You'll work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while building your consulting, delivery, and Guidewire experience in a collaborative, innovation-focused environment.

Work you'll do

As a Consultant - Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer, you will bring an analytical, and delivery-focused mindset to configure and extend Guidewire PolicyCenter to support P&C insurance product and underwriting needs. You will work closely with client stakeholders and Deloitte delivery teams to help translate business requirements into PolicyCenter configuration and technical design, including product model updates, rules and workflows, and Gosu-based extensions. You will collaborate with teams supporting integrations, data, and adjacent Guidewire components as needed to deliver quality solutions. You will continue to build your PolicyCenter knowledge, remain open to coaching and feedback, and contribute to the success of the team through strong execution, collaboration, and continuous learning.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years consulting and/or relevant insurance industry experience (P&C, Life & Annuity/Group, Commercial, Specialty)
  • 3+ years implementing insurance core platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Origami or similar)
  • 3yrs full lifecycle large-scale implementations (PolicyCenter, Billing, and/or Claims systems)
  • 2 yrs of experience working in one of the following sub service areas: Insurance Products, Underwriting, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration or Distribution
  • 1 year experience estimating and planning Large Scale System Implementations

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
