About the Role:

The Software Developer performs software development using Cold Fusion, Microsoft .NET and Oracle PL/SQL. Will require knowledge and use of software development platforms such as TOAD, GITLab, Visual Studio and other integrated development environments. Knowledge of and experience using relational database technology is highly desired.

The developer will be joining a highly successful team supporting the Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) for the Department of War (DoW). JDRS is a centralized database that provides a single, standardized, interoperable automated system for reporting, investigating, and addressing all aviation-related Deficiency Reports (DRs). This encompasses DRs for all Air Force commodities, Naval Aviation, and Coast Guard Aviation, as well as industry partners. JDRS integrates the engineering disciplines together to perform the investigative analysis, identify solutions, provide recommendations, and track all of this information concerning deficiency reporting for DoW.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. Must have:

•At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining Cold Fusion, .NET, and Oracle application software

•Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite of products including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and MS Teams

•Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Level Security clearance

•Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Nice to have:

•Experience in software similar to Cold Fusion, .NET, or Oracle application

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Bachelor of Science Degree in Data Science, Math, Economics, Business Analytics or other related technical degree

•Possesses a working knowledge of Naval Aviation maintenance and supply processes and their data systems (i.e., NAMP, JDRS, OOMA/DECKPLATE)
