RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops computer code in C++ and Java.
  • Utilize Applied Mathematics to develop software that performs signals analysis and interprets physical sensor output.
  • Develop and Maintains software as part of Windows and Linux Baselines. Solid experience with disciplined software release control and configuration management.
  • Works as part of an Agile SCRUM Software development team that Analyzes, develops, tests, and modifies software to meet the user's and systems requirements.
  • Works with Government Systems Engineering and Software Development teams to Identify and prioritize enhancement implementation and bug fixes.
  • Coordinates with user to identify data availability, report requirements, and systems design problems.
  • Reviews work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and user standards, and progress in accordance with schedules.
  • Prepares status reports and presentations on task performance to clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.).
  • Computer Science and IT Degree programs shall be accredited by one of the 6 associations:

o Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
o Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
o Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU)
o Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)
o Senior College University Commission (WSCUC)
o Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)
  • Engineering degrees shall be from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program (see www.abet.org). Note: Technology degrees do not qualify as Engineering or Physical Science Degrees.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Three (3) to Six (6) years of experience in Software design and development, to include: Systems Architecture design, Signals Analysis, Statistical Data Analysis, Automated Test and Evaluation, and support of C4ISR software applications.
  • Three (3) years of technical experience in support of C4ISR and information management systems.

CLEARANCE: Current active Secret, with reasonable expectation of eligibility for a Top-Secret clearance in the future.
LOCATION:
  • The work location is on-site at North Charleston, SC with 0-5% travel expected.
