Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated .NET Developer to drive the maintenance, operations, and development of a Statewide Case Management System.

Location: Columbia, SC (Must be a CURRENT South Carolina resident. No relocation.)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Interview Process: 1 Round, Virtual

What You Will Do (The Role)

As the Technical Lead, you will bridge the gap between high-level project leadership and hands-on enterprise development.

  • Lead & Mentor: Act as the primary technical resource to troubleshoot complex issues, mentor junior developers, and coordinate with 3rd-party vendors.
  • Architecture & Design: Independently design, code, test, and deploy medium-to-large-scale web applications on the Microsoft platform.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with local counties and imaging vendors to determine and implement optimal document solutions.

Key Requirements (The Must-Haves)

  • MS .NET Architecture: 7+ years of experience independently designing and implementing medium-to-large-scale software systems.
  • SQL Development: 7+ years of experience developing data-driven applications utilizing MS SQL.
  • Imaging & Document Management: 5+ years of experience implementing and integrating Imaging, Document Management, and Data Capture Systems.
  • Web Architecture: 5+ years of experience building/deploying N-tier, highly-scalable web applications with complex security models.
  • Technical Stack: Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, WCF, Entity Framework 6, Visual Studio, and TFS.

Bonus Points (Preferred Skills)

  • Experience with Case Management application development.
  • Hands-on experience using KOFAX products.
  • Strong background in Agile environments, Performance, and Security testing.
