Spring Health is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Product Design, Member Growth, you will focus on elevating the quality, craft, and clarity of our core member experiences while ensuring they drive meaningful business outcomes. You will work closely with PMs, Engineering, and Data Science to design and ship thoughtful, high-quality product experiences that help members access and engage with the right care.
Please note that this is a hybrid role based in New York City, with an expectation to be in the office 2-3 days per week at our 60 Madison Avenue location. Candidates must be based in the NYC metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days of their start date. Occasional travel will be required for team on-sites.
What you'll be doing:
  • Design elegant, intuitive, and high-quality product experiences across our core member platform.
  • Bring a strong visual point of view to improve the overall look, feel, and usability of our products.
  • Work with your pod to identify and understand user problems and translate them into clear, compelling solutions.
  • Rapidly deliver polished, production-ready designs that balance craft with speed.
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates to validate what to build and ensure solutions drive measurable impact.
  • Continuously refine and elevate the design quality of shipped experiences through iteration and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and a high bar for quality.
  • Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale through high-quality artifacts and presentations.
  • Combine empathy, curiosity, and strong design instincts to create experiences that feel simple, thoughtful, and human.

  • Impact on business metrics: Drive improvements in conversion, engagement, and retention across key member journeys.

  • At least 5 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong track record of shipping high-quality user experiences.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual design skills, attention to detail, and a refined design sensibility.
  • Proven ability to improve the quality and coherence of product experiences through strong craft and execution.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering to bring ideas to life quickly and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
  • Ability to move fast without sacrificing quality-comfortable operating in an iterative, product-driven environment.
  • High bar for visual design, interaction design, and overall user experience.
  • Comfort using data and feedback to inform decisions, while maintaining strong design judgment.

The target base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $202,400, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Databaseat minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
