Job description

Apex Systems .NET Developer

Apex Systems has an immediate need for a.NET Developer to maintain and upgrade existing applications, as well as develop new code for potential migration efforts. The position is on a long term contract basis, with strong potential to become a permanent employee. The successful candidate will join a small to mid-sized team, and work closely with individuals across different lines of business. A candidate with a strong Database Programming background is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development, code review, and unit testing of.NET and Oracle database code.
  • Perform design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems.
  • Work in an agile development environment to ensure continued successful development and deployment of applications
  • Analyze and research technical and business requirements to determine feasibility of design and implementation within time constraints.
  • Provide peer reviews of other team members work products.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands on development with in a Windows environment.
  • Strong familiarity and experience with C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET and development, patterns, and architectures.
  • Strong database development skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • AWS Experience
