About Falconwood, Inc: Falconwood, Inc. is a small, woman/veteran-owned business providing executive level consultants and programmatic support to Department of Defense Information Technology (IT) initiatives and programs. We provide expert consultation on a diverse range of IT subjects focusing on programmatic, acquisition strategy, implementation activities and Information Assurance policy and engineering. We support the total lifecycle of Information Technology systems and applications. We have an opening for an Navy Authorizing Official (NAO) Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA), supporting the PEO Digital (Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and ONE-Net) Program Office. Responsibilities
The Navy Authorizing Official (NAO) Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA) will:
  • Perform eMASS packages review for Risk Management Framework (RMF) Step 2 and Step 5 authorization requests.
  • Review the Security Plan, SLCM Strategy, and Security Assessment Report (SAR) and provide recommendations to the NAO.
  • Participate with the NAO and Package Submitting Office (PSO) in Checkpoint meetings and provide SME guidance on behalf of NAO.
  • Ensure authorization requests are supported by sufficient documentation as outlined in the RMF Process Guide and supporting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure authorization recommendations comply with higher level policy as defined by Department of War / Navy policy, instructions, and guidelines in support of authorization decision.
  • Provide technical analysis of RMF artifacts and support monitoring and tracking of POA&Ms.
  • Document authorization recommendations and package deficiencies / ATO conditions.

Qualifications
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Navy RMF Validator, SCA-L or NAO CSA; Experience with NMCI or ONE-Net is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (relevant experience may be substituted for education).
  • Preferred Certifications: DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification
  • Strong understanding of the RMF and NIST 800-53 security controls
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • No travel required

Pay Range
$139,000 - $144,000 based on skills and experience
