Job Description

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the provisioning, installation and activation of telecom services, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of customer orders. This role acts as a liaison between internal departments (sales, engineering, permitting, construction, network operations, porting, etc.) and external vendors or clients, coordinating all aspects of service setup and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage telecom provisioning orders from initiation through completion.
  • Work closely with internal teams to gather required information and ensure service readiness.
  • Schedule and track service installations, circuit turn-ups, and equipment deployments.
  • Monitor order progress and provide updates to customers, account managers, and leadership.
  • Validate service requirements and confirm feasibility prior to service activation.
  • Troubleshoot provisioning issues, escalating to engineering or operations when needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all activities in internal systems.
  • Maintain detailed timelines and adhere to service delivery SLAs.
  • Support process improvements to streamline provisioning workflows.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in telecom provisioning, order coordination, or network operations.
  • Familiarity with telecom services (e.g., Ethernet, DIA, VoIP, fiber).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of network concepts and infrastructure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Telecom industry certifications (e.g., MEF, CompTIA Network+).
  • Knowledge of LEC ordering processes (ASR/LSR) and circuit delivery timelines.
  • Experience working with carriers and ISPs.
  • Remote setting with occasional in person meetings at Headquarters
  • May require occasional after-hours coordination during service activations or escalations.
