Job Description

Lead Software Developer with experience building both web based and client based .NET applications using the best practices of SOA architectures and using VB .NET 2.0. 

Responsibilities include interpreting software requirements specifications, programming, implementing, and maintaining code according to ASP.NET standards, performing Unit testing. Also developing appropriate documentation, participating in code reviews and interfacing with an off-shore development team giving technical guidance and direction. 


Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience with .NET development environment including C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET., IIS. 
  • Strong Web Development experience and knowledge of DHTML, JavaScript and DOM Level 2. Experience working with a decentralized team, e.g. shared development with an off-shore team.
  • Experience with integrating Microsoft with other technologies, e.g. J2EE.
  • Experience with JavaScript using the Document Object Model for dynamic manipulation of client side HTML elements. 
  • Experience in Agile development, experience with Team Foundation Server, including entering User Stories, Bugs, Enhancements, Burndown, and working with offshore resources. 
  • Experience with stfSoft, deep experience with the full Microsoft BI stack, including: SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint. 
  • Excellent Communication Skills. 
  • Consuming Web Services (SOAP). XHTML, DHTML, DOM Level 2.HTML, Stylesheet, Client and Server end scripting, Visual Source Safe, Microsoft Report Analysis Service, XBRL. 
  • Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or 5 yrs IT experience.
