Job description

About Sisense
Sisense is a leading AI-powered Analytics Platform as a Service (AnPaaS) that empowers product teams and developers to embed conversational, predictive, and agentic intelligence directly into applications and workflows. Our API-first, developer-first platform turns complex data into faster, smarter, actionable decisions for over 2,000 global customers across industries. With our cutting-edge AI portfolio, including the Sisense Intelligence assistant, automated narratives, and advanced machine learning modeling, we are accelerating the future of embedded analytics at scale.
About the Role
We are seeking an elite, high-autonomy Senior Account Executive. In this individual contributor (IC) role, you will operate as a premier hunter, commanding high-complexity, multi-threaded sales cycles to land net-new logos within our target mid-market and enterprise technology segments.
This role is designed for a world-class closer who thrives in the trenches - owning the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution. You will partner closely with Solution Engineers, Product teams, and GTM leadership to execute technical deal strategies, negotiate six-figure transactions, and aggressively expand our customer footprint.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the full-cycle sales motion for high-fit target accounts, driving outbound orchestration, opportunity qualification, pipeline generation, and revenue closure.
  • Lead pain-based technical and business discovery sessions to diagnose a prospect's data landscape, architecture challenges, and AI/analytics strategy.
  • Engage and build champion relationships across both business executives and technical stakeholders (Engineering, Product, CTOs, Data Leaders).
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Engineering in an aligned deal framework to execute proof of concepts (POCs) and establish winning evaluation criteria.
  • Translate platform technical capabilities into business value propositions, executive business cases, and ROI models tailored to customer use cases.
  • Apply structured sales qualification methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) to rigorously test and qualify opportunities early in the sales cycle.
  • Utilize Mutual Action Plans (MAPs) and Digital Sales Rooms to streamline buyer steps and achieve predictable, on-time deal execution.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting (via Salesforce/Clari/Gong) and leverage intent telemetry to prioritize high-propensity target accounts.
Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of full sales cycle B2B SaaS experience with a primary focus on net-new business hunting and closing.
  • 3+ years selling complex, technical products (e.g., BI/Analytics, Data Infrastructure, Developer Tools, APIs, or AI/ML platforms).
  • Documented track record of meeting or exceeding an annual quota of $500K-$1M+ ARR, consistently closing six-figure deals.
  • Deep expertise in structured enterprise sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of the Message, or Sandler).
  • Highly comfortable discussing databases, cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery), APIs, and modern data architectures before looping in technical resources.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive hunter with strong negotiation skills and emotional intelligence.
