Elite Executive Solutions is conducting a confidential search for an experienced MEP Project Manager to support large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects in the Austin, Texas market.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a construction professional with experience managing complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and critical building systems from preconstruction through final turnover.

The ideal candidate understands the technical and financial demands of major MEP projects and can effectively coordinate field operations, subcontractors, procurement, schedules, budgets, commissioning activities, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage MEP project execution from preconstruction and mobilization through commissioning, closeout, and turnover.

Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire protection, and related building systems.

Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, procurement, change management, and financial performance.

Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, procurement plans, and critical-path activities.

Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.

Coordinate closely with MEP Superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, commissioning teams, vendors, and client representatives.

Manage procurement and delivery of major equipment and long-lead materials.

Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions to protect schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.

Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Support startup, testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, and turnover of critical systems.

Maintain accurate project reporting and provide leadership with visibility into project performance.

Promote strong safety, quality, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience within commercial, MEP, mechanical, electrical, or mission-critical construction.

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical construction systems.

Data center or mission-critical construction experience strongly preferred.

Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, schedules, procurement, change orders, and subcontractors.

Understanding of commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover processes.

Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.

Excellent leadership, communication, financial management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Travel flexibility preferred based on project requirements.
