Job description

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer who thrives in a microservices environment and is passionate about clean architecture, performance, and payment technology-while leveraging AI to accelerate end-to-end software delivery.
Role Overview
As a Senior .NET Developer, you will design, build, and maintain core backend services powering Client's payment platform.
You will collaborate closely with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance APIs and microservices. You will leverage AI-driven tools and practices across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)-from requirements analysis and architecture design to development, testing, deployment, and production optimization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust RESTful and gRPC APIs using ASP.NET Core (.NET 8 / .NET 9)
  • Build and maintain event-driven microservices deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Implement CQRS and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) patterns across core payment services
  • Integrate with payment gateways, banking APIs, and third-party financial services
  • Ensure PCI-DSS compliance and follow OWASP security best practices
  • Write high-quality unit, integration, and contract tests
  • Optimize SQL queries and Entity Framework Core performance for high throughput
  • Work within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor developers

AI-Driven SDLC & Solution Engineering
  • Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI) to accelerate development, debugging, and documentation
  • Apply AI across the SDLC, including requirements refinement, architecture design, and automated solution generation
  • Use AI for code generation, refactoring, and performance optimization while maintaining security and scalability standards
  • Implement AI-driven testing (automated test case generation, synthetic data, and defect detection)
  • Build AI-enabled backend services (semantic search, conversational APIs, document intelligence)
  • Use AI for system observability, anomaly detection, and production incident analysis
  • Drive end-to-end AI-assisted solution development-from ideation through deployment and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications
AI & Intelligent Systems
  • Experience leveraging AI across the full SDLC (design, build, test, deploy, operate)
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into .NET applications and microservices
  • Familiarity with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, ML.NET, Semantic Kernel)
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and AI-driven architecture patterns
  • Experience using AI to improve developer productivity, automate testing, and enhance system observability

Core .NET Skills
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience
  • 4+ years hands-on with C# / .NET Core
  • Expertise in ASP.NET Core Web API
  • Strong understanding of async programming, LINQ, and .NET runtime
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core and Dapper

Architecture & Patterns
  • Experience building microservices or distributed systems
  • Knowledge of CQRS, Event Sourcing
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
  • Experience with API Gateway patterns (Azure API Management, Ocelot)
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
