They use languages such as C# or VB.NET to build dynamic websites, web services, and web APIs that run on the .NET platform. Their responsibilities often include writing clean code, implementing application layers, troubleshooting, and ensuring high performance and security for web solutions. ASP.NET developers typically work closely with front-end developers, database administrators, and other IT professionals to deliver robust, scalable applications.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams—such as front-end developers, database administrators, and QA testers—requires clear communication and adherence to best practices. Additionally, keeping up with evolving frameworks and integrating new technologies can present learning curves, but also provide valuable opportunities for professional growth.
