Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling Service Electrician (NES Division) in Phoenix, AZ. The Traveling Service Electrician is responsible for performing comprehensive electrical service and project work in commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will possess a valid electrical license from any U.S. state and be prepared for 100% regional travel, specializing in troubleshooting, infrastructure upgrades, and system diagnostics.

Pay: $40 to $48 Per Hour BOE
Licenses/Certifications Required:
- Valid electrical license from any U.S. state
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical components to repair or replace faulty systems and infrastructure.
- Install and troubleshoot new wiring, lighting systems, fuse boxes, generators, and related electrical components.
- Perform modern upgrades to outdated electrical infrastructure to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Conduct thorough post-installation testing to verify that all systems and devices are fully operational.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, county, state, and federal codes as well as legal and insurance requirements.
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks while consistently meeting project deadlines and daily deliverable requirements.
- Document project progress through photos, signed checklists, and the creation of As-Built drawings.
- Mentor and oversee the work of co-workers on-site to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Develop and maintain professional, solutions-oriented relationships with clients and team members on all job sites.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid electrical license from any U.S. state.
- Significant experience in commercial and industrial electrical service and project work.
- Ability to travel 100% of the time, including being away for weeks at a time for regional assignments.
- Must reside within a 1.5 to 2-hour radius of the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record in good standing.
- Openness to working all shifts, including day shift, nights, and occasional Saturdays.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable safety regulations.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage administrative project documentation.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination for wiring and tool operation.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and poles to access electrical equipment.
- Physically capable of pulling wires and cables through various conduit systems.
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of working in inclement weather conditions and various industrial environments.
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time during a shift.
- Visual acuity to discern color-coded wiring and interpret technical diagrams.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $40 to $48 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
