Job description

We are seeking a Warehouse Field Shop Technician to assist with the handling our media broadcast equipment and gear. This position is primarily responsible for the Shipping and Returning of equipment to and from orders, delivery of equipment to a client, and general organization of the warehouse. This person will work with high end gear and help our warehouse expedite everything incoming and outgoing for our jobs. This role will also be responsible for all field shop activities, equipment, and gear as needed. This could be a good role for a person with a year of experience in a similar field or capacity in a warehouse and in shipping and receiving.

This is a Full-Time hourly position, on-site at our Grapevine, TX location. Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm. There will be some overtime as needed.

Key duties:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day order process, ensuring inbound and outbound orders get processed promptly.
  • Helps load and unload gear off trucks using a hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
  • Create accurate R2 documentation for all the equipment returning into the building.
  • Preps gear packages including cleaning cases, weighing cases, and preparing labels.
  • Documents missing and damaged equipment on return from a contract.
  • Deliver equipment to and from client location.
  • Assists in general clean up and organization of the warehouse.
  • Performs quality control checks of items like tripods, lighting, monitors, fiber, kits, etc. from the inbound shelves.
  • Responsible for vehicle maintenance and upkeep including fuel, fluids, cleanliness, etc.
  • Assist engineering on client in-house preparation.
Requirements:
  • 1 -2 years of experience working in a similar environment.
  • Experience working in a large warehouse / field shop.
  • Valid Driver's License. Must have good driving record.
  • Able to operate company vehicles i.e. van and up to 16 box truck.
  • Able to work necessary overtime or weekends to complete workload.
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internally.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in Logistics and Warehouse a plus.
