Job description

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is looking for a full time day Registered nurse to join our NICU!

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

  • The Davis Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baystate Children's Hospital is the region's only Level III NICU.

  • We have a team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, residents, pediatric subspecialists, respiratory therapists, and neonatal nutritionists here to care for our littlest patients, 24 hours a day.

  • Continuing Care Nursery part of NICU- infants go there to be monitored after they graduate NICU.

SCHEDULE:

  • Full Time Day 7 AM- 7 PM

  • Rotating weekends and holidays

  • Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.

  • Minimum 2 year of inpatient RN experience required, 2 year of Mother/baby or NICU experience preferred.

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

$41.82 - $54.06 - $66.30
