Join Our Team as an Electrical Estimator 

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the construction industry? Merical Electric is seeking a talented individual to join our team in Upper Marlboro, MD. As an Electrical Estimator, you will have the opportunity to work on complex electrical projects for prestigious clients such as Georgetown University and  Kaiser Permanente. You will be part of a dynamic team that values skilled labor and ongoing training. If you are passionate about commercial and industrial electrical work, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate take-offs and estimates for electrical projects
  • Manage change orders and submittals throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with the pre-construction team to develop project scopes
  • Oversee conduit installation and building construction
  • Review and interpret blueprints for power distribution systems

Required Skills:

  • Experience in commercial construction projects
  • Proficiency in estimating software for project management
  • Knowledge of electrical code and wiring systems
  • Ability to develop scope of work and bid proposals
  • Strong background in construction management

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with Electrical field
