Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring access activity. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors and deliveries, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
