Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Location: Kearney, NE

Specialty: ICU

Position Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2023 - $2437 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

This travel role allows you to make a significant difference in a 10-bed ICU unit, caring for a varied patient demographic, including those recovering from CABG surgeries and other cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed ICU, emphasizing cardiac cases.
  • Employ advanced techniques with IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
  • Work collaboratively with a committed team to achieve the best patient outcomes.
  • Be prepared to float to PCU and Med Surg as required based on patient census.
  • Commit to 3x12 night shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations.
  • Ensure precise documentation using the EPIC system.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, with a focus on cardiac care.
  • Possession of an active NE or compact nursing license in good standing.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
  • Familiarity with the EPIC charting system.
  • Willingness to work weekends and additional shifts as necessary.
