Job description

Acuren is seeking a professional, energetic and forward-thinking CEDO Technician with IRATA certification to support operations at LNG site located in Kitimat, BC. 

Position Details

Location: LNG in Kitimat, BC 

Start date: Immediately

Shift/Hours: 5/2 rotation, 40 hrs./week and possible overtime

Wage: $36.54/hr., depending on certifications in accordance with the QCC Agreement

Relocation: We are able to offer up to 3 months of temporary housing to assist with your relocation transition if required. 


  • Prepare and position radiographic exposure devices and sources, such as gamma or X-ray equipment, to conduct inspections.
  • Calibrating the equipment, securing the area, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed to protect themselves and others from radiation exposure.
  • Perform radiographic examinations on materials, welds, or components to detect internal flaws, such as cracks, voids, or other irregularities.
  • Implement and monitor strict safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to themselves and others.
  • Ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

  • Certifications & Technical Qualifications:
    • CEDO Certification

    • IRATA (Rope Access) Certified or willing to obtain

    • Diversified experience in NDT or related field

    • Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level

    Professional Skills & Work Requirements:
    • Strong work ethics
    • Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
    • Exceptional safety and quality awareness
    • Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
    • Candidates must be local or willing to relocate
