Job description

Rope Access Technician Level II

The responsibilities are:
  • Reviews Work Order, PO, procedures and specifications assigned to him/her by management
  • Facilitates what equipment is needed for assigned inspection job
  • Generates a JSEA prior to the start of each job
  • Standardize the NDT equipment per assigned procedure.
  • Verifies all inspection equipment is up to date and visually inspects equipment to assure it is in good working order.
  • Set's up Ropes securely per our Rope Access procedures and under the Supervision of our Rope Level 3
  • Ensures proper traceability of material/ products to be inspected
  • Carries out soft craft work such as stripping insulation and coatings, applying new insulation / coatings for CUI remediation per assigned procedure and specification.
  • Assists NDT Technician
  • Cleans material and work area to an orderly fashion
  • Takes frequent inventory of NDE and Soft craft kits and company vehicle and lets supervisor aware of upcoming equipment/ material needs.
  • Cleans and maintains company vehicle if one is assigned

Education/ Certification/ Training/ Experience Requirements
Must hold a Rope Access SPRAT Certification as a Level 2.
3 years' experience with insulation and coatings.
