Job description

As an NDT Technician II, you'll inspect critical turbine engine components using non-destructive testing methods such as Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Radiographic Testing (X-ray). You'll identify cracks, defects, and other discontinuities that could impact the safety or performance of a component. You'll prepare parts for inspection, operate NDT equipment, evaluate and document inspection results, and ensure all work is completed according to established procedures and strict aerospace quality standards. This is detail-driven work where accuracy matters. If you take pride in thorough inspections, following processes, and helping ensure critical engine components are safe and ready to return to service, you'll fit in well here.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections Follow written procedures to complete NDT inspections Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and paperwork match Accurately record inspection results Use basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Make sure equipment is in good working order and in calibration Report any quality issues or nonconforming parts Handle parts carefully to avoid damage Keep your area clean, safe, and organized Work as part of a team with production and quality
Requirements
NDT experience or training (FPI or X-ray preferred) Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic measurement tool experience is a plus Comfortable reading and writing in English Team-first attitude and strong work ethic
