Job description

Braun Intertec is looking to hire a Nondestructive Examination (NDE) - Level II Radiographer in Dickinson or Watford City, North Dakota. (Minot, ND would also be considered)

Responsibilities
  • Perform Ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field or laboratory projects
  • Works independently as crew lead on job sites
  • Trains assistants on proper processes and procedures
  • Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner
  • Understands and utilizes safe work practices
Required Skills & Experience
  • Recent experience performing radiographic inspections.
  • magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic and visual inspections in addition strongly preferred
  • Level II NDT certifications and the ability to pass the Braun Intertec Level II test for RT.
  • Level II MT, PT, UT certifications in addition, preferred.
  • Must meet or exceed ASNT-TC-1A Level II requirement for experience and education
  • IRRSP card for industrial radiography
  • 80 hours of RT classroom training
  • 40 hour radiation safety training
  • TWIC badge a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, post high school education in nondestructive testing or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experienced with NDT methods and procedures
  • Must have a valid, insurable driver's license and be willing to travel
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to work off ladders and scaffold
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle record check
