Job description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for NCS/EMG Tech for its Ames location. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Perform electrodiagnostic procedures in Clinic or Hospital. This will include operating electromyography equipment to assist physicians in conducting electrophysiological tests such as nerve conduction studies (NCS), muscle strength, & repetitive stimulation. Performs NCSs independently in routine settings. Explains the NCS test procedure to the patient. Scheduling patients for testing, etc.

Education

  • High School diploma, GED or HiSET.
  • BS or BA in Kinesiology or Biology

Days: Two full days & 2 half days

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience

  • Prefer one year work experience doing EMG Possess strong computer skills. Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
